The Promise: Respect and resources for the hands that build India. The Trap: Paying bribes to get verified by the Panchayat or clicking fake "Toolkit Download" links.

  1. Recognition: ID Card and Certificate.
  2. Toolkit: e-Voucher of ₹15,000 to buy modern tools.
  3. Training: Basic (5-7 days) and Advanced (15 days). You get ₹500 per day as stipend during training.

  1. CSC is Mandatory: You cannot apply on your mobile. Go to a Common Service Centre (CSC) with Aadhaar in hand.
  2. Verification:

[!warning] Scam Radar

  • Red Flag: "Pay ₹1,000 for Tool Kit Delivery." (The Tool Kit is an e-voucher; you go to the shop and buy it. No one delivers it for cash).
  • Red Flag: Ensuring "Guaranteed Loan approval" for a commission.
  • Action: Verification happens at the Panchayat level. If the Pradhan asks for money, report to the BDO/DM.

4. Why Verification matters?

To stop fraud (like a non-tailor taking the loan), the scheme insists on "family-based" verification. Only one person per family can avail the benefit.
