One Nation One Ration Card: How to take ration in any state (No new card needed)

The Promise: No worker should go hungry just because they moved to a new city for work. The Trap: Agents charging ₹500 to "convert" your state card to a "National Card". (There is no such thing as a separate National Card).

1. How it works

If you have a Ration Card in your village (e.g., in Uttar Pradesh) and you work in Delhi:

1. Go to ANY Fair Price Shop (FPS) in Delhi.
2. Tell the dealer you want to use ONORC.
3. Give your Ration Card number or Aadhaar number.
4. Biometric Check: Put your finger on the ePoS machine.
5. collect your wheat/rice at the central price (₹2/kg or ₹3/kg, or free under PMGKAY).

2. Family Split? No Problem

You don’t have to buy the full quota in one place.

• Wife in Village: Can take 50% of the ration there.
• Husband in City: Can take the remaining 50% here. The digital system tracks exactly how much is left.

[!important] Aadhaar Seeding is Mandatory ONORC only works if your Aadhaar is linked to the Ration Card. If not, the ePoS machine in the other state won't recognize you.

• Red Flag: "Pay ₹200 for a new plastic One Nation Card." (Your old paper card is valid).
